Meadow Mint Tea

This recipe from Aunt Dorothy Martin brings some refreshment on a warm summer’s day as you kick back to relax with a good book in the shade.

Instructions
  1. Bring one gallon of water in a pot to a rolling boil.
  2. Add sugar and still until dissolved.
  3. Remove pot from heat and add two cups of packed tea leaves to the water.
  4. Let sit for one hour and strain to remove any pieces of tea leaves.
  5. Refrigerate before serving.
